IT WORKS FOR ME

I was curious about the chemicals in Grecian Formula 16 so I decided to put it in a search engine and I found these reviews. I didn't realize that it had lead in it until now but I have had no bad effects from the product. In fact it seems like my hair is finally growing. It DID make my grey hair go away. I'm not real big into washing my hair a lot because it is kind of dry and breaks off so I like to leave the natural oils in and just rinse it with hot water and use a little conditioner on the ends for detangling it. I am concerned about the lead and sulfur now and am thinking I may look for an alternative but I really like how the product works I just wish it didn't have lead in it. Bummer!

Works Almost Too Good

My hair was about 40% grey and I wanted to reduce the amount of grey slightly before it got out of control. The product was easy enough to apply and, over the course of 3 days, pretty much removed all my grey. It looked natural enough, but worked a little bit too well. The old grey areas have a slightly different shade than the rest of my hair and looks almost like very subtle highlighting. Only problem is that over the course of those few days all my grey was removed and I'd really like to have a little bit left so that it wouldn't be so noticable for someone who hadn't seen me in a week. It takes about 3 weeks to get to the amount of grey I really wanted and then I have to start the process over after 6 weeks. I'm going to try some of the other products to find something that will be a little more subtle and allow me to keep the same shade consistently.

Difficult to buy but good

This product works quite well compared to others. The original formula was more effective (but more toxic apparently). New formula less effective, but still works OK & the smell is less offensive...
Tip 1: I have found the dryer your hair, the more effective, so, if you can, let your hair dry in the morning before applying. You will get better results.
Tip 2: The original & later formula seems to work better when exposed to the sun. I don't know if this is because of the sunlight or the heat, but again, if you can, apply to dry hair & then go outside & do some gardening for 15 mins..good results. For those of U that live in colder climates, try a hair dryer..it may give the same results

This product works as stated, it does not cost much and its only weakness is its smell, which is not too bad after all these years. I have used Youthair liquid for nearly 10 years and about a year ago, I thought it was no longer as effective as when I started. This must be due to my hair being almost 60% white now. Then I tried Youthair creme and my results have improved. Now I only need to apply it every second day. I use it so that I can keep about 10% of my hair white.

Works fine

I used this before but wasn't super happy with the smell. Well, I hate using hair dyes (even Touch of Grey) so I tried this again. Started with Formula 16 for about two weeks and the smell is kind of hard. Switched to Grecian Plus (foam) and it's better. Only shampoo once or twice a week and use baby shampoo. Gray is surely disappearing so I'm very happy with this product. Should be where I want within a week then I can just to maintenance. I honestly think it's the best to cover gray. I have no side-affects. I'm not sure if the foam is as potent as the liquid, but I live alone (for now) so smell is not an issue initially, but I started to wonder if others would notice, so I switched to the foam.

I use this in conjunction with Propecia tablets. I have used the shampoo for around 4 months, so just about a full cycle. I have also recently begun using the liquid.
I am always very very sceptical about these sort of things. Who can prove that the shampoo is responsible for what is clearly a recovery in my crown? It may be just the Propecia.
However it is beyond doubt that there has been a recovery of sorts, though nothing on the hairline/temples.
So far so good!

Working Well!!

I've had typical MPB thinning at the temples since I was around 28. Progressively getting thinner and thinner but no area increase. By this year the hair was completely gone. After a months use of C1 I have regrowth and a continous hairline again!! Its still finer than the rest but early days and it appears to be catching up with the rest. So far sooo good!!

I have been using GreyBan for 6 months. Before GreyBan, I used every kind of hair dye available. I have a lot of red in my hair and found all products brassy. However, after letting my natural gray/brown grow in, I tried GreyBan. It is the best product I have every used on my hair. It colors it to complement my skin color. In addition, it ads shine and body. Plus, it doesn't change as you shampoo it. I'm using it twice a week to maintain the natural honey blonde. My only problem is the ODOR. It takes several washings to destroy the odor.

I've used vivscal since many many years ago and it was really effective at that time but couldn't afford buying it every month since I was a student so I started using a local made minoxidil 5% and it was great ..it didn't stop hair falling totally but made it vey much slower .. then I thought it would be great to use two products at the same time so I started using revivogen as well but it smelt bad with no great reslults after few months of using it.
I decided to start again with viviscal and bought 6 months supplement from canada .. after more than 3 months I can assure you that this viviscal can never be the same product that I've used long time ago .. it has zero effect and pureeee waste of money!.. I'm thinking about trying spectral DNC-L.

Viviscal works for me!

I am African American and have always had very thick, medium length hair. After my (recent) 50th birthday, I noticed that my hair was starting to thin around my hairline and temples. I've been using it for over 3 months. I have very thin silver hair, and previously had nothing but a few wispy strands at the front but nothing to comb. I used to trim these wisps off with my beard trimmer as they itched. I use Alpecin every day and I now have proper hair at my front hairline again which my barber has to cut with scissors - It continues to improve steadily and, altho it will never again be a really thick head of hair, the transformation is remarkable. I am very happy with my results.
